I work closely with a licensed flooring and remodeling team, which means the plan I draw is a plan that can actually be built.
I come to your home for up to two hours. We walk the rooms you want to change, talk about how you actually live in them, and I take measurements and photos. Before I leave, you'll know what I recommend and roughly what it costs. A few days later you receive a written plan with colors, materials and the order to do things in. If you'd like the complete design afterward — drawings, every material specified — that's a separate project, quoted after the visit, and your $297 is credited toward it.
No. The visit stands on its own, and the plan is yours to keep whether you hire anyone or not.
Yes. If you move forward with your project — a full room design, or new flooring and countertops through my installation partner, Black Gold Flooring — the full visit fee comes off the total. In that case the design visit costs you nothing.
Not at all. Most of my visits are one kitchen, one bathroom or one lanai. Small, well-done changes usually make more difference than people expect.

Residential interior design in Florida doesn't require a state license. Every installation is carried out by a licensed and insured contractor team, and I stay involved through the build — so the person who planned your room also sees it done correctly.
